Packing List

*All gear must be carried down one or two steep stairways (ladders), so please pack light/do not overpack. We recommend duffle bags or backpacks, NOT suitcases.

*Close-toed shoes are highly recommended while on the USS Lexington. Sandals may be used for the beach on Thursday.

*Each participant must bring a pillow, sleeping bag, toiletries, towel and flashlight. Hand sanitizer and insect repellent are also advisable.

*A refillable water bottle is Mandatory (20 oz or 24 oz preferred size).

*A can of food to donate to the Houston Food Bank (e.g. soup, fruit, corn, etc) is requested. It will be collected at check-in Wednesday morning. 

*Phones are allowed; please leave all other electronics at home.

Please note: 

• The USS Lexington is a steel boat so cell phone service may be poor while on the boat.  

• There are only a few electrical outlets in berthing areas and in the lounge and game room so your cell phone may run out of battery while on the boat.

• Male and female berthing areas are separate.
